I'm getting pretty bad at this whole blogging regularly thing. Right now my first semester of grade 12 is just finishing up, so I have final exams soon! Halfway done grade 12... kinda scary haha!!

Anyways I've become kind of obsessed with making simple little collages. So here are a few I made haha! The photos I used in these collages are from one night when I was bored. I was sitting in my bed with my lamp beside me, taking random photos go myself. Anyone else take photos of themselves when they're bored?

Oh and another thing! Only a few of you probably know that I have Instagram. If you don't already have it, and you're able to, get it! It's awesome :)

Lightening!

Just a small little post for today. Last night there was a bit of lightening so I tried to get a picture. Do you know how difficult it is to get a picture of lightening! Haha! There wasn't that much of it so I had to wait a few minutes between them and always seemed to miss it! I decided to take a video instead. I turned my camera on and a couple seconds later BAM some lightening went off! The video isn't the best quality but oh well!

Oh and I took a screen shot of the lightening and then edited it and got this...

Yesterday my internet wasn't working. I decided to make a video on my new camera. I still haven't quite figured everything out, but I had fun making this. I don't really have a title for it so I just call it CHEERIOS! I made it by myself so I had to use my right hand to hold the camera and my left hand to do everything else! I shot it in manual focus also. So here it is! Let me know what you think :)

So the other day I decided I was going to go outside and take some fun and exciting pictures of my pooch, Reba. Whenever I take pictures of Reba, they are just the boring kind, the ones where she just sits there and looks at the camera. Well my plan to take fun and interesting pictures of her came to a screeching stop, thanks to the thousands of hungry mosquitos living in my backyard! So I didn't get any interesting or different shots of her, just got some plain ol' cute ones ;)

Mother's Day | 200th Post!!

Okay, so, as you all know, (or should know) today was Mother's Day! I hope you all had a wonderful day. I sure did... Even though I'm not a mother...hee hee!

So first we brought my amazing mom breakfast in bed. We all got her cards too!

For lunch, my mom decided she wanted Chinese food! All I can say is yum!

Before dinner, we went to the cemetery to visit my grandma's grave.

Then after dinner, I had a mini-shoot with the greatest, most beautiful mom ever!

Cookies! {Recipe}

So today my mom asked me to make cookies so I did! I made Tiny Mini Kisses Peanut Blossoms!

Here's how you make 'em:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup margarine

3/4 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

1 egg

3 tbsp. milk

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

bowl of granulated sugar

Chipits Mini Kisses

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Cream together margarine, peanut butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar.

3. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla.

4. Combine flour, baking soda and salt.

5. Gradually blend into creamed mixture.

6. Shape dough into balls. Roll in granulated sugar.

7. Place on un-greased cookie sheet.

8. Bake in oven for 8 minutes.

9. Remove from oven and immediately press one Mini Kiss into the centre of each cookie.

10.Sprinkle sugar on top of the cookies.

11. Eat :)

The snow is finally starting to melt! There's still a lot more to melt but at least it's melting. I can't wait for spring. It means no more heavy winter coats and winter boots. And the best part is that I can actually start taking pictures again! Winter really does reduce the amount of pictures I take. So a few days ago I took some pictures of flowers I have. Here they are!

This winter we have had LOTS of snow and it has been really cold. You're probably sick of me telling you that but it's true! It's finally warm again so I took advantage of the warm weather. Marissa came over today and I snapped a few shots! Enjoy :)

This week on I Heart Faces the theme is "Winter Wonderland." A few weeks back I had a fun photo shoot with a few of my friends in the snow. Here is the photo I've chosen to enter!

I love how happy she looks in this picture!

Lately it's been snowing like crazy and freezing cold! It's been between -20 degrees C and -30 degrees C the last few weeks! How cold is it where you live? Do you have lots of snow?

I know, I know. More pictures of Marissa! These were taken in the summer. I was feeling blah today because it's soo cold! It was something like -28 degrees (Celsius) the other night! I found these pictures anf they reminded me of the summer. How I miss summer already. *Sigh*

I couldn't pass this week's I Heart Faces theme up. It is "Pink" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My grandma died from breast cancer in the summer of '09. My entry isn't photographically great but I love it. Here it is :

This was taken on my grandma's last birthday. She was turning 61. I miss her tons.

Today after school I went out to test out my aunt's lens for a bit. Here is what I came up with! Enjoy :)

And then I decided to try what M did from dis fromage. She calls it zooming. You simply zoom in or out while taking a picture. Here is what I came up with!
